laptop battery recalls
How do I know if my HP battery is part of a batch recall or not?

I recently bought a pair of laptop computer batteries HP's Craigslist. But after I got home, I realized the first two letters of each of the batteries is the listing for the memory. Now, when I went to the HP website to enter the code for the full battery of whether these batteries were recalled, requested that the serial number on the laptop. Now, I bought it from someone else, I have the serial number. And I am unable to contact that guy. I do not want to risk with a battery recall. But is there any way to know without knowing the serial number on the laptop?

Call the customer service line. Some dealers will exchange for you. You can try the exchange of the two for a new battery. That could work. Ascertain the location of the nearest dealer and going to do with the batteries. If there was a recovery, they are legally obliged to give a new one. His call of duty of care to the end customer is that in this case
