The Battery Installation Kit with Battery and Coil Tester is a kit that has some basic tools that are needed to fit batteries and circuit coils in watches and then to test their functioning. All the tools come in a pouch which has flaps with double Velcro seals. The pouch has suede leather lining to ensure that the tools are stored safely. The set includes two circuit screwdrivers and one battery and coil tester. This tester tool can also be used to test AA batteries. There is also one screwed watch case back remover tool and a spring bar tool with a 3 mm fork, .8 m tapered push pin and a 5 cm rule in the installation and tester kit. There is also one fixed blade compressed case back remover included in this set. There is a rubbing off compound which is used to clean up after the installation of batteries and circuit. A set of plastic installation tweezers are supplied which help in the fitting and removing of coils and batteries. Using this kit, the watch circuitry can be installed easily. After this, the watch batteries can be tested to see if they have charge and then fitted into the appropriate place.

It can test two watches at the same time and is very reliable. There is no danger of water penetrating the watch when the testing is carried out. It is recommended to use distilled water for testing. ELMA Leak Controller 2000 Dry Water Resistance Tester is a quick and easy way to test watches for water proof properties. This tool does not involve any water; so, there is no need to remove straps or bracelets to carry out the testing. A vacuum is created within the chamber where the watch is tested. With this device, the testing is a clean process. It can be used to test all shapes and sizes of watches. There is a manual safety vacuum release button in this device. The Elma Vac-U-Proof revealing gel is a non toxic substance that is easy to use. It has to be smeared in the area where there is a doubt of a leak – if there is a breach the gel will start to bubble at that point. This gel can be used only with dry testing. This is a silicone based gel and can be used as a sealant on gaskets.
